Everyone has used that book as a genealogical bible....
( Rev. Donald Neil's wife told me after my Mother died, "Margaret, I am acousin of your mother through the MacLeans and a cousin of your fatherthrough the MacMillans!!") She was born a MacLean."

Rev. MacMillan was born in Finch Township :in the same area where hisScottish ancestors settled in 1802, He attended St Luke's Public andAvonmore High School. He went to McGill University for four years andthen to the Presbyterian College for three years....

"One of Ewen's descendents is the Reverend Donald N MacMillan, M.A.,B.D., Ph.D. (Edinburgh), who was minister of Kenyon Presbyterian Church,Dunvegan, Ontario, for 24 years before taking up duties as Professor ofTheology in the Presbyterian College of Canada., Montreal. He is marriedand has a wife and two sons. The latter's forebears were formerly settledin Lochiel Township, but Ewen, his grandfather, bought a farm in thesouth-east corner of Finch Township in 1841."
