NOTE: In the 1900 Census, Owen states that his father is fromScotland, and yet there is an Owen B. Craig in Vermillion County in1860 of the correct age, and the father listed in the 1860 census hereis from Ohio. Could Owen have meant in the 1900 census that thefamily is from originally Scotland? Then in the 1910 Census, Owenstates that both his parents were born in Indiana ??? Could it be,the census person wrote this down, or perhaps Owen did not know forsure where his father was from? At a closer look of Ada's parents inthe same census, it would appear that the census person wrote downIndiana for both her parents as birth places also. In the 1920 Censusboth Owen & Ada state that their parents are from Indiana. Moreresearch is required.
