  1. 1.  Alexander (of Dunearn) Stuart (son of Charles (of Dunearn) Stuart and Christian Bennett); died in Feb 1786.

    Notes:

    Alexander Stuart of Dunearn, Captain in the 11th regiment of dragoons, and Aid-de-Camp at the battle of Culloden to the gallant General Lord Mark Ker. He was afterwards an alderman, and some time mayor of the town and Governor of the Castle of Ludlow, where he died in February 1786. He married Boteler, a widow lady of Salop, by whom he had one son, who died in infancy. A very fine collection made by him of paintings, and a library of curious books, were mostly disposed of after his death, and now form part of some celebrated private and public collections in this country. Leaving no issue, he was succeeded by his half-brother

  1. 2.  Charles (of Dunearn) Stuart died in 1732 in Tower Of London.

    Notes:

    An officer in the 3d regiment of Guards, (commanded by William Marquis of Lothian, his first cousin) afterwards Master of Works in the Tower of London, where he died and was buried in 1732
