My memories of him as a great grand child of his , slender , full beard, smoked a little clay long stem pipe, lived in a big two storied home in Mallard, Iowa ,had lovely fowers lots of tulips and iris, big yard nice tress , room for family picnics,and loving to allMartin married Wilhelmine Krehl on 10 Nov 1864 in Germany.
