    Henry Foster migrated from Dauphin County, Pennsylvania to Lancaster
    County, South Carolina with a large group that settled in The Waxhaws
    area. Henry served during the Revolution as a Corporal in George Liddel's
    Company, 3rd Regiment, South Carolina Continental Troops under Colonel
    William Thompson.

    Henry married Ann Dunlop on 5 Mar 1752 in Paxton Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Ann was born in 1732 in Lancaster County, South Carolina; died on 14 Dec 1795 in Lancaster County, South Carolina. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

    Esqrs. Justices. . .
    Thomas Foster appointed guardian over Arthur and Andrew Foster, orphan
    children of JOHN FOSTER. Moses Dickey appointed guardian over Robt. and
    Moses Foster, orphan children of John Foster. . .William Bell appointed
    guardian over Sarah Foster, an orphan child of John Foster, deceased. . .
    Application of Henry Foster, eldest son of JOHN FOSTER, late of Paxtang
    Township, setting forth his father died Intestate seized of a plantation
    containing three hundred and twenty acres and that he is willing to hold
    the same and to pay the younger children their respective shares. Ordered
    that James Galbreath Esqr, Thomas Foster Esqr, Thomas Simpson and James
    Reed should Appraise and Value the same making an allowance of twenty
    acres which was sold by John Foster to the Presbyterian Congregation, who
    have erected a meeting house thereon. . .it is ordered that Henry Foster
    do hold the same on giving security. . .to Thomas Foster, the guardian
    over Arthur and Andrew Foster and to Moses Dickey, the guardian over
    Robert and Moses Foster, and to William Bell, the guardian over Sarah
    Foster.
